Army Strong: Suicide Prevention From Sea to Shining Sea

Suicide.

That word caught your attention, didn’t it? The truth is, suicide catches everyone’s attention. It’s the actions leading up to suicide that go unnoticed.

On August 15, 2015, The Bartz family received a call that would change their lives forever. At the young age of 20, their son Trent Bartz made the decision to end his life. While Trent was the epitome of integrity and honor, this young American soldier silently struggled with many inner demons that were too loud to shut out.

In an effort to commemorate Trent’s life and help others fight their battles, The Bartz Brigade was born to raise funds to support the education, prevention, and awareness of suicide – with a focus on young adults, adolescents and those serving in our Military. We want to bring mental health to the forefront and end the stigmatism that is associated with it.

Together, we can continue Trent’s legacy by raising awareness about suicide prevention and the importance of mental health. Let’s give those who are suffering a platform to be heard and understood. When you recommend a friend, family member, or co-worker to us for a no-obligation quote, we pledge to donate $10 to The Bartz Brigade on your behalf. Yes, and that is for EACH friend. What do you say? Are you ready to change the narrative?
